First Christian Church, Muskegon, along with 4 other northside churches were featured in the Summer 2011 West Michigan Feeding America Food Bank newsletter for jointly sponsoring food distribution.
The article reports, "For 10 years, this multi-denominational group has jointly sponsored food distributions. They serve refreshments and often include other services, such as toy and clothing exchanges and social service sign-up assistance...
