The Rev. Bruce Barkhauer returns to share insights on how proper budget building and implementation of sound fiscal policy can become powerful tools in helping your church reach its potential for ministry and mission. This session will take you deeper into the technical elements of crafting our story and assuring an environment of trust.

Participants will leave with skills to ensure long term growth in giving and financial competency among your church leadership. 

Barkhauer is Minister for Faith and Giving for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) with the Disciples General Offices. where he has been for nine years. Prior to that he served 25 years in parish ministry. He is the author of numerous articles and books including the recently published "America's Holy Ground: 61 Faithful Reflections on our National Parks," and "Community of Prayer: A Stewardship Devotional."

He is a graduate of Christian Theological Seminary, Indianapolis. and Ohio University.
